The renaissance of a historical family legacy

This building, which has been in the Maser family for five generations, has a rich history and is now being carefully restored and modernized, with the listed elements lovingly preserved.

A connection to the past: The Tudor Gothic of 1884

Our historic building was built in the Tudor Gothic style in 1884. It embodies the elegance and charm of a bygone era. Its unique architecture is a true treasure and a testament to the craftsmanship of bygone times.

Deep roots in Boppard and in viticulture

The Maser family is not only the owner of this historic building, but also has deep roots in the town of Boppard and winegrowing. The history of the Maser family can be traced back to 1620 in Boppard. This connection to history and the region is reflected in every stone of this building.

A story of change

The history of this building goes back a long way. Built in 1884 as the mayor's house, the house was purchased by Toni Maser in 1923 and converted into a hotel.

The first steps towards renewal began in 2010. The “Karmeliterkeller” was repaired, which eventually became the “Historischer Karmeliterhof” restaurant.

A journey through time

The renovation project is a combination of history and modernity. We are committed to preserving the heritage elements of the building whilst providing modern comfort and convenience.
